"Where the Fox River flows under the bridge. Geneva, Illinois.
Built in 1842 our thick-walled Stone Room was the Village Blacksmith Shop of the settlement called Herrington's Ford, shortly to become Geneva. Across the road at the Bennett Mill was built to grind the farmers' grain while they had their horses shod and wagons mended.
Closed Mondays and most holidays."
The restaurant opened in 1933 and served its last meal in January 2011.
