I love this card from Michele!  In the 1950s many cities offered separate mailboxes for local and out of town mail to speed processing.  Marketing photos like this promoted their use.

September NA RR - Mission San Francisco Solano

Love this card from Victoria!  Mission San Francisco Solano is the last established and most northerly of California's 21 missions.  It was founded in 1823, then part of the Republic of Mexico.  It fell into ruin in later years and was used as a winery and hay storage.  It is now beautifully restored and open to the public.

I had quite the thing for Marlon Brando when I was younger. I watched A Streetcar Named Desire so many times. On the Waterfront was right up there too!  Thank you Susan for this awesome card!
