Sweet Georgia onions from Naomi!  Love it!  Georgia's annual harvest brings some $50 million to the economy.  Vidalia onions are harvested from late April through to mid-June and since 1990 have been Georgia's official state vegetable.

This delightful card was sent to me by Susannah.  Somehow this represents Toronto's Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) and the Foods of the World sidewalk cafes. This is one of those vintage postcards that makes me go "huh"?  It is just a plain old bad photo.  I kind of love it! :)

Dried chili ristras are a common sight in New Mexico. The original purpose was to group the pods together for later consumption, but they are often sold as decorations.  Thanks Jocelyn for this wonderful slice of New Mexico!
