February 2016 NA RR - Elvis Collection!
The items displayed in the Elvis showcase were left to Vernon Presley's fiancee. Sierra Sid purchased all of these original items from the Executrix of Vernon's estate. Rocky writes that this place still exists as Sid's Casino and now touts the display as Elvis' GUN collection! Eek!
January 2016 NA RR - Cut Bank
I am absolutely delighted with this card from Michele of downtown Cut Bank, Montana! County seat of Glacier County, the town gets it's name from the Blackfeet Indians descriptio of the gorge cut out of the white clay by Cut Bank Creek. The discovery of oil and gas was a major influence to the community.

January 2016 NA RR - Mission San Juan Bautista
Another beautiful California mission.
The Bell tower or campanario at San Juan Bautista was rebuilt in 1976 as part of a larger mission restoration. It replaced a wooden tower that was architecturally inconsistent with the rest of the mission and had been removed in 1949.
Fans of Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" will know this is where the movie was filmed.
Thank you Mike for this awesome card!
