Classic I Love Lucy episode which aired January 10, 1955.  I can just hear Desi singing as he drives, can't you?

There is a tv station here which still shows I Love Lucy reruns daily.  It's a true classic, much like this card from Eric.  Thanks, Eric!!

August 2015 NA RR - Mayberry

The Mayberry Jail was constructed in the late 1890s and was the site of the police and fire departments for Mt. Airy, NC until 1979. Barney's squad car is a 1962 Ford Galaxy 500 and was restored by owner Gene Rees in 1993.

Swap - Norma and Norman

Why does the post office insist upon damaging people's faces?!  Normally I don't mind the wear and tear as I think it shows character, shows the card traveled and made an effort to reach me...but in this case I'm not pleased. Oh well, you pays your money you takes your chances.

I was tickled pink to swap with Grace when I saw this kitschy cool postcard from the television series "Supernatural".  The Winchester Boys have stayed in some pretty tacky motels over the years (and if you read this blog at all you know I LOVE tacky motels!).  This is from episode 602 "Two and a Half Men" and is a Route 66 motel in Lansing Michigan.  Thank you, Grace!
