February 2016 NA RR - Glendive
At first Glendive was a great hunting and fur trading town. In the year 1880 Northern Pacific Railroad caused the people to crowd in the area. It has had the title of being a cattle empire. It also is famous for Moss Agate found in the area of the Yellowstone River.
All that information gleaned from the back of the card. The only thing I didn't know was where the heck Glendive is. So my bff Google informed me it's in Montana.
I really love this card!! Thanks, Michele!

Beautiful and Historic Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Looking north on Main Street, circa 1947. Thank you Joyce for this beauty!!
January 2016 NA RR - Cut Bank
I am absolutely delighted with this card from Michele of downtown Cut Bank, Montana! County seat of Glacier County, the town gets it's name from the Blackfeet Indians descriptio of the gorge cut out of the white clay by Cut Bank Creek. The discovery of oil and gas was a major influence to the community.

Swap - Main Street, Massena
I have been cross-border shopping in Massena, New York for many years. Back in the heyday of cross-border shopping Canadians flocked to this small town just across the border for bargains. Sadly the town's retail industry is dying off. The big mall stands 3/4 empty and it's food court contained only 3 restaurants last time I was there. Luckily the town maintains it's charm overall and is still a lovely place to visit. If you've got serious shopping to do though you need to travel a bit further into New York state and hit Watertown or Syracuse. Thanks, Sher!
