Swap - Plant Life

I adore houseplants so it should come as no surprise that I adore this card from Daniele.  From the sounds of her message her green thumb is way better than mine!

Swap - Great Smoky Mountains

Thanks to Heather for adding this glittery view of the Great Smoky Mountains to my collection. What spectacular colours!  I'm looking forward to autumn, cooler temps and colour like this!

Swap - Robson Street, Vancouver

I love this 1957 image by Fred Herzog.  It really captures the essence of Robson Street.

August 2015 NA RR - Seattle Public Market

Great card from Davida called the Essence of Seattle.  Perfect!

August 2015 NA RR - Prince Harry, Sweet 16

Fabulous Prince Harry postcard from Emily to commemorate Harry's 16th birthday in 2000.  Love it!!

August 2015 NA RR - Mayberry

The Mayberry Jail was constructed in the late 1890s and was the site of the police and fire departments for Mt. Airy, NC until 1979. Barney's squad car is a 1962 Ford Galaxy 500 and was restored by owner Gene Rees in 1993.

Many thanks to Erin for this great card!

August 2015 NA RR - The "Breakers" Motor Hotel

Located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  For night life at Virginia Beach this is a favorite entertainment spot - noted for its music and tropical concoctions served in coconuts, pineapples and zombi glasses.

PS. My husband pointed out that all the staff is black and all the patrons are white.  Did you catch that?

August 2015 NA RR - Motel Hotel Les Cascades

Aerial views of motels are always a bit funny to me... I just don't see how they entice visitors.  This visitor wants to see photos of the rooms and the amenities.  Is it just me?

This beauty from Christine still exists today in Alma Québec.

Swap - Blue Sweatered Elvis

Fantastic choice, Colleen! Thank you!

Swap - Footprints in the Sand

You can't tell but it's glittery.  Very very glittery.  Thank you, Heather!

Swap - The Witch Museum

Salem, Mass. witch museum... features a multi-media depiction of the 1692 hysteria that resulted in the hanging of 19 people.  Thanks, Barbara!
