We visited Salem in 2015 and I saw this postcard there and fell in love with it... mainly because I have the same witch decoration.   Thanks very much to Crystal for adding this one to my postcard collection!

Swap - Witch Trials Memorial Statue

Created in 1987 by Yannis Stephanakis, this statue represents the injustice of the Salem witch trials of 1692.  Pictured here are the town sisters: Rebecca Nurse, Mary Esty and Sarah Cloyce. Rebecca and Mary were hanged for the crime of witchcraft while Sarah was miraculously spared.
