It's Pandanus Time!
There are no Postcrossers in the Marshall Islands. So how does one get a postcard from there if you don't know anyone who lives or is travelling there? Drop a note to the MIVA of course and politely request they send you one. I was thrilled with the super quick response from them!
Pandanus trees are seen everywhere in the Marshall Islands, second only to coconut trees.

September 2015 NA RR - Fire & Ice
“Fire & Ice: Hindenburg and Titanic,” was an exhibit at the Smithsonian’s National
Postal Museum. Titanic and Hindenburg served demands for
rapid worldwide communication and transportation. Both operated as the
world’s largest mobile post offices. Each in its day promised the
fastest possible worldwide mail service. Each offered onboard gentility
and opulence. Each met a tragic end.
This would have been such an amazing exhibit to see! Thank you, Susan! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Before dinosaurs were in existance, the sea covered Oklahoma depositing barium sulfate into the sand. As the climate changed, the sea dried up, and crystals (rose rocks) were formed. Iron oxide in the sand gave the rocks their reddish colour. These beautiful, rare, rose rock clusters can be viewed at Timberlake Rose Rock Museum in Noble, Oklahoma.
