“Fire & Ice: Hindenburg and Titanic,” was an exhibit at the Smithsonian’s National
Postal Museum. Titanic and Hindenburg served demands for
rapid worldwide communication and transportation. Both operated as the
world’s largest mobile post offices. Each in its day promised the
fastest possible worldwide mail service. Each offered onboard gentility
and opulence. Each met a tragic end.
This would have been such an amazing exhibit to see! Thank you, Susan! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Swap - Edmund Fitzgerald
Having grown up listening to the Gordon Lightfoot classic "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" I simply had to swap with Olga to have this card for my collection. Many thanks, Olga!
